WHO WE ARE
We are the Women in Business Council and we connect, empower, and educate women so that they may become respected leaders in business and the community.
Our council is open to all majors at the University of South Carolina.
WHAT WE DO
Our organization aims to help students develop and practice professional skills that are beneficial to their future careers. We hold bi-weekly meetings that feature a range of guest speakers from different companies who provide insight into their field and offer advice to members. New members are invited to become a part of our WIBternship program, which is composed of a series of workshops, a group interview, and a case competition at the end of the semester. Outside of meetings, there are plenty of social/networking opportunities to engage in!

Grace Owens

​Hi! My name is Grace Owens and I’m from Jackson, MS. I am a senior IB/Finance major & MIB candidate. I joined WIBC as a freshman and have loved it ever since! I am also the VP of the club equestrian team, a member of the GARNET student advisory board, and a Delta Zeta. I can’t wait to meet you all!

Mia McEnerney

Hi everyone! I have been a part of WIBC since the fall of my freshman year, and I am so excited to serve as VP this semester. Before VP, I served as the Director of Media and CMO. In addition to WIBC, I am involved in Zeta Tau Alpha, Order of Omega, AMA, and CIF. After I graduate, I will be staying at Darla to pursue my accelerated MBA. I love traveling, trying new restaurants, working out, and shopping. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I can't wait to meet all of our incredible new members!

Hi! My name is Montana Arp and I am from Greenville, SC! I am currently a sophomore majoring in Advertising and minoring in Business Administration.
This is my first year at WIBC and am very excited to serve as the Chief Marketing Officer! Outside of WIBC, I am an active member of the Student Advertising Federation. But in my free time, I love to thrift, work out, and hang out with friends! So excited and can't wait for what is to come this semester!

Brynley Wall

Hi! My name is Brynley Wall and I’m from St. Louis, MO!! I’m a sophomore majoring in International Business and Marketing with a concentration in Sales Leadership and a minor in Spanish! I’ve been in WIB since the fall of my freshman year and I’m also the Co-Chair of the Conference Committee this year! On campus, I’m a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, Carolina Competitive Dance Club, and I’m in the Honors College! In my free time, I love to read, work out, and go on sweet treat runs! Hi! My name is Francesca Zobrist, and I am a sophomore International Business and Finance major with a Spanish minor! This is my fourth semester in WIB, and I have previously served as a member of the WIBternship Committee. Along with this role, I am a Career Studio Peer Educator at UofSC’s Career Center and a member of the academic committee of my sorority, Pi Beta Phi. Hello! My name is Jenny and I am from the Chicago Suburbs! I am a junior with majors in Economics and Finance and minors in Law & Society/Hospitality & Tourism Management. This is my second year at WIBC and I am looking forward to making more connections with new members. Outside of WIBC, I am a part of my sorority, Chi Omega, where I serve as the Alumni Relations Chair. I am also a part of the Order of Omega and I work on campus as the Assistant Manager of Basketball for Campus Recreation.
